My wife and I are having terrible trouble switching over to Telstra for our Mobile's and laptop to use on the road....We have been waiting for 1 week so far....Because of this I am heading off North Along the Hume next Wednesday on my own......She is going to fly to Brisbane or Coolangatta and will meet me. Until such time as this mob get us hooked up.......It's a pity Optus does not have the facilities...

I will be staying at Goulburn NSW for a couple of nights....Then though to Newcastle...Pick up a couple of games of bowls(Lawn) and enjoy life ..Until Shirleys arrives...Ha Ha Ha ha!

Don't let a little thing like that stop you both hitting the road together. Go and get a prepaid Telstra Mobile phone $39.00 at Big W And sign up with Telstra for you internet and run both services till they get their act together and cancel your Optus . Better traveling with two of you and safer as well

Nothing to stop you both going, there's plenty of Telstra shops along the way you can call into and get things fixed up.

What is your problem? Have you breasted the counter at a Telstra shop? Each time I have done that I have walked away with the service working.

There is a little bit more involved..it's the whole house hold that we are switching from Optus to Telstra because I believe it's a must for travellers..They keep saying that within 2 to 3 days....After speaking to them countless times on the phone....Just get it'll be soon....
