The Great Seaforth Sausage Safari

Got to chatting with Max next door about sausages.   Soon had the overwhelming desire for a sausage for lunch.   Very unappealling mass produced snag in the local shop, so off we go to the famous Kuttabul Butcher.   After all its only a 60 odd klm trip for half a dozen snags.   Lovely drive up through the valley to Kuttabul, and yes there is the quaint little old fashioned butcher's shop.   But the bloody shop is closed!!!!!!!!!!!!  Lovely sign outside thanking all their loyal customers over the years.  I guess the CEO'S of the big two chains are sitting in their penthouse suites congratulating themselves on wiping out one more little guy.  Makes me mad.  Butcher's son that I am.

I have been following your story and we're looking forward to going home to our lovely seaforth after 4 years on the road, now dam dam dam dam no more kuttabull butcher i cant believe they wont be there any more. We  lived in Townsville for many years and went home to mum & dads at seaforth at least once a month and took back all our meat for the next month, best pork snags i have ever tasted. Only staying maybe 3months in the area then off again north or south or west not sure make it up as we go.
