Beware Email Scam From Paper Ad

Hi Folks,

Just want to warn you about a scam I received from a Quokka Online Newspaper ad.

This person calling themselves Mrs Cory Sayre sent two previous replies asking for more details, photo's etc (these included one which showed my Rego No) before they sent the last one.  I have checked with Quokka and they said it is definitely a scam, I have reported it to Scamwatch, see the email content below;

"Thanks for your prompt responses, I am glad that you gave me your last offer on these goods am buying the Item as a gift for my Son as I am at sea at the moment as i am a marine Engineer.

And i really want the Merchandise to be a surprise for my son so I won't let him know anything about the Merchandise until it gets delivered to him. I am sure he will be more than happy with the Merchandise.

I insisted on paypal because I don't have access to my bank account online as I don't have internet banking, but I can pay from my paypal account, as I have my bank a/c attached to it, I will need you to give me your paypal email address so I can make the payments ASAP for the Item and please if you don't have paypal account yet.

It is very easy to set up, go to www.paypal.com.au and get it set up, after you have set it up I will only need the e-mail address you use for registration with paypal so as to put the money through. I have a pick up agent that will come and pick the Item up after I have made the payments. Thanks
Mrs. Cory "

That sure is a scam, so obvious. Then when her agent picks up the merchandise Mrs Cory arranges for her money to refunded back from paypal, thats if she paid it across in the first place.
Well spotted.

Hi You dont think I will get any? That makes me cry.. I have ordered a new all bells and whistles caravan and a 450 F,a to tow the sucker with. Will need a 450 as the van is a double decker and has 8 wheels, a bath and swimming pool. Four bed rooms and sun room at the back.. You think I should cancel? Or should I sell to one of the *%#$@ that sent the email!!!
Now that could work ,send me a $100 to open a bank acc. so you can send me the 2million..
BIG SMILE...Thinking how my new van will look going down the road, Bob n Bev

Just this week I've had 3 junk snail mails advising me I've won $10,000. All I have to do is send $39.95 for "administration costs" and they'll send the cheque.
They all came from a return address, Sydney, but the return envelopes were all to the same address. Just coincidental that they arrived on the same day.
So, I sent the paperwork back, with no money and a note reminding them "no purchase is necessary with this transaction", and return the envelopes with no postage stamps.
$30,000 would be a good top up for my diesel fund, but I won't hold my breath.
Blue face doesn't match my current hair colour.
