G,Day everyone, After reading your story about all our big icons my 16yr daughter suggested when we start our big trip in 4 months that we should find all the Big Icons around Australia. Can anyone tell us if there is a list somewhere of all of them so we can check them out.
Love the idea of old stone buildings and pubs. I particularly like churches, not sure why I am not overly religious, maybe it is the workmanship, history etc.
Me too Sandra, I am not religious either but have hundreds of photos of churches, maybe because of their stone work. Just like the look of them from the outside.
Edited for spelling mistakes!!

If you are talking about BIG icons and refer to the likes of the BIG BANANA, BIG PRAWN etc, just thought I would mention that the BIG PINEAPPLE on Qld Sunshine Coast closed down last week...

DUNMOWIN is no longer on the road and still DUNMOWIN!
We live near the big pineapple, it has just been sold again and the new owners have big plans for it, We will be looking forward to coming back and seeing it in a couple of years.
You have to see the Big Gallah in Kimba, and the big Crayfish at Kingston SE, South Aust. I think the big ram at Goulbourn is a work of art. Even the rubbish bin is a little merino lamb. The country we live in is BIG! Go and see the BIG country and have a big, fat good time.
