PICK THIS PLACE

I was going to let someone else have a turn, but it's been a couple days, so I'll jump in and say Lake Boga. It's an interesting museum. Lake Boga was a Catalina Maintenance Depot. Their silos were painted last year I think it was, so will add it to the bucket list again. Bowen was a flying boat base. Cheers to all.

Just a PS. Silo Art - Rupanyup in Victoria, silos have been repainted completely different from what they were. More for the bucket list.

Thank you Gaylehere

Yes, Lake Boga, Victoria.

I did enjoy and the Museum had been on my bucket list for sometime.

Where are you going to take us?

A new one. IMG_7975.JPG  The painting goes around to the left on this picture.  This one is in a company yard, but there is plenty of  off street space to park.  Thanks Radar for the Boga photo too.

Yes, It's a pity you can't get the whole picture in one photo.

Hi Dicko

While watching the evening news last night I saw a bit of the Flooding in the Mid NSW Coast and a scene reminded us of a time we were there.

So here we go. Where are we in amongst the terrible Rain Events?

Ok. That's fine with me. I have about 12 years of posting and answering Pick this Place and have a drum full of places from this page to go and see.

Just trying to keep the page alive.

Hi, As there has been no takers and I haven't seen it myself I have cheated and googled it. Google told me it is at Cowarra Dam. Thanks and Cheers.

That is ok, I put the photo up sometime ago and then needed to remind myself of the name of the Dam.

So I googled.

Yes, Gaylehere it is Cowarra Dam at Wauhope mid North Coast of NSW.

Would you like to take us to somewhere else.

Hi Dick0,

Yes it is Rupanyup in Victoria. Just wondering - have you seen the silos since they were repainted to a completely different picture? I saw them and the wood carvings in 2023 when we were down that way and before the repaint.

Anyways, over to you and Thanks.

PS.  Google tells me the silos were repainted in March this year.

Might that be the easel in the Emerald Qld park? I've seen it a few times but have forgotten who the artist was and the reason for the display in the park, as such. Perhaps someone can remind me and other/s.

Well done Barry for getting the Big Easel at Emerald Qld.

And Bruce for artist and painting.

Where to Barry?

Hi,
Thanks for the information.

I'm having trouble accessing my photo files at the moment. It's probably because I'm technology challenged when it comes to simple things like attaching a picture.

I'll get help from an expert soon but in order to keep Pick This Place going, would someone else kindly put up another picture.

I enjoy looking up localities that are depicted here and look forward to visiting places.

Anyway, If someone is able to put up a nice, simple picture, I and I'm sure others will appreciate it.

Thanks and kind regards, Bazz
