I would be heading from Perth to Coolgardie, and pretty close to half way on my trip I would turn left and head north

If this is where I think it is, it's changed a bit since I was there. There where no stairs or decking to walk on.

 Got it in one Jeff, we were there May last year. Yes they've upgraded the deck & added seating. The walk in from from the steps is still a bit rough. Although Daless is probably the easiest Gorge to get into..
