hi all, ths might be a bit of an ask, but i don't suppose anyone on here goes land sailing ??? the reason i ask is that i do and after a recent falling out with my local land sailing club, (no loonger a member) i will be looking for other places to sail,, such as dry salt lakes, I have one that i can go to for a few days away as it's about 6 hours drive north of adelaide and a beach near here but am always looking for new ground to sail, might sound strange but the area would need to be as dry as possible, flat wide and long, as my land yacht can get up a far click of speed when the wind is up so i need a fair bit of area.....anyway just thought i'd put it out there,,,,

yeh gran i have but a lot of them i can't get permission to go onto i have tried,, there is one in yorke town right in town but the last time i was there it was to wet,, corny point beach is a good spot when the tide is out as is another beach near point turton but again tide is a factor there,,,,lake gilles near Kimba on the west coast is the best miles and miles of smooth flat salt,, hopefully by early new year it will be dry and hard enough to give the 80 k mark a bit of a try,, still to get to that speed yet but am giving it a fair shake at the moment, hence the need for a large flat area as for pictures well i'll see what i can do
