Hi all. Just bought a 17.5ft. approx 1980Prattline.Towed about 500 kms. without incident but I note the whole roof(whole roof) is separated from whatever it was attached to. The roof is still in one piece,no rips or splits and has just completely liftedbut is still fully attached to the van and looks normal until you inspect close. It is riveted at the back and front(vertical faces) of the van only and I cant find cross members it may have been attached to on the top of the van and there are no rivets or screws visible anywhere on the horizontal face of the roof. Was it glued ? And to what ? Can anyone tell me what to do now or does anyone know where I can get a drawing of how they were constructed please ? I'm thinking of securing the roof flat again with stainless washers and stainless metal type self tappers downwards through the roof- topped with Sicaflex but what are the scews going into ? Can anyone offfer any advice please ?
