I spotted a Grey Nomads Sticker

I saw a Grey Nomads Sticker on the back of a home made slide on camper on a Toyota ute.  There was a sign, hand painted on the back among a few other stickers, from far and wide,  that said "Bill's bait box".  Anyone know who this character is? ROTFLMAO

Marj, when and how did you become a 'Guru' and I become a 'Senior Member'? confuse

I'm guessing it's something to do with timing, but Guru? You must be very clever!

Becoming a Guru depends on one's number of posts.

I won't put a grey ribbon up till I'm actually travelling.
Maybe your sticker would have been better on the back of your van. Being in Echuca with a lot of travellers passing through, I walk around any parked looking for the grey nomads stickers, still waiting to find one. If driving behind one I am searching for the sticker.

Hey Guys n Gals,

I have mine, one on the bullbar and one on the back window.....

Grey ribbons, hmm now come to think of it, I did Millicent to Adelaide, to Melbourne, to Sydney to Newcastle, Lithgow and out to Cobar and down to Mildura and back to Millicent and never have I seen one.

We have all the GN's pass through the main street of Millicent on a daily basis and I have never noticed one either let alone any GN stickers...... on the subject of Millicent.

The place to stay is the Lakeview Caravan Park, next to the swimming lake (free to use) Beachport end of town.
If you want a great value meal and a nice cold beer with a friendly crowd the Somerset (bottom) pub is the one, and
For a nice cuppa & lunch through the day "Coffee Kat" in the main street down opposite the Bedford Laundromat is the place to go....

There is a dump point at the back of the Millicent tourist information centre and museum on the way into town just past the Hospital if heading West and just after the IGA & Catholic church if heading East

For those that want a rest and relax there is the Lake MacIntyre bird watching area on the road to Beachport about 5 km out of town, awesome stop opens early am and closes at sunset.

Dont worry about stopping in Mt Gambier, too much hassle parking with a van/trailer.

Saw the self, same unit at Richmond NSW a week or so ago. Had a coffee with the 'character' before he headed of further south. Actually a real nice guy. Hope to catch up with him again one day.

So many hundreds, thousands of caravans in this country! This forum has relatively few members, which makes us VERY special, but hard to spot!!
