We are going to lake Boondooma on the Boyne river in a couple of weeks time. Has anyone else been there? Can anyone advise what the fishing is like? and are there Redclaw there? Apart from the fees there is not much on their website..

Yes. There areredclaw, and bass , plus yellowbelly plus other nativefish. My sister lives just up the road at Proston. There is a vanpark and a shop at the dam, but I would take everything with you.Nice spot, you can camp right on the dam, but fees apply.I hope this helps you. Bill
