had a great break

well we are home hubby and i had our great break seeing as he had not had a holiday for seven years ,i took him on a plane to cairns ,we did the touristy stuff he absolutely loved the train in kuranda we both love the old stuff and listening to the story of how it was built etc was amazing

we dined out on fish and chips on the waterfront ,went up to meet a girlfriend off her cruise that had stopped out of port douglas ,had lunch up there, ravenshoe pub was the highlight out west ,had the most amazing lamb shanks home cooked meal

did all the waterfalls and basicaly just had a realy nice time so hoping that he decides we take a break once a year now, i dont care that its not long as we only went for five days but at least it got him away .
by the way we hired a jeep never again what a rough car that is to drive ill stick to my subaru

so posting some pics now

Hi Glassies, sounds like you had a great time. Good on you, nothing like a break to rejuvenate the body and soul,

cheers

Great that you were able to get away makes all the difference here's hoping you can make it at least once a year. Helena.

It would have been a happy and contented tired at the end of each day glassies. So glad you had a wonderful time. Nothing like a bit of rejuvenation.
