Met My first Grey Nomads Today

Well my wife Therese and myself had the pleasure of being invited around to forum member JHR and his wife Irona's home today. Was great to escape the heat for a while exspecially for my wife, to relax over a cool drink in the air conditioned comfort of John and Irona's house. We hope to catch up in Albany in the coming weeks. Been a real pleasure, we thank you once again for your hospitality.
cheers

Yep lovely people. Salt of the earth.
Have a coldie here with your name on it JRH, and a camp spot, if you ever get this far.

It's always great to meet fellow GN's. It can happen as part of a plan or quite incidentally at the busy little metropolis like Woomera.
I literally bumped into Gunnado in the bar at the caravan park. Yes, you read correctly. The caravan park has a licensed bar for happy hour..s.
He twigged he was chatting to "Cruising Granny" after about half an hour of comparing travel notes. So you just never know where we pop up.
I'm in SA, near Adelaide but not in it, so if anyone is passing this way feel free to call in for a cuppa and a yarn. Cheers
