Well we all know the super market shopper dockets for your fuel discount. A couple of days ago I stopped for fuel at a shell servo,had no dockets , didnt matter. In the process of fueling I noticed that this servo was a IGA docket receiver. Apon paying ,the lady on the console handed me the receipt and added, keep this as you can use it when buying supplies at a IGA supermarket. Next day we picked up a couple of supplies & presented the fuel receipt to receive a $2.52 discount on $23 worth of goods. So it can work both ways, buy supplies & get fuel discount or buy fuel & get discount on supplies, How long before the other two big ones copy? Learn something every day.

Yeah great idea ... First time I encountered that was at Cunnamulla last year. The IGA store had a sign that said "Spend $30 at IGA and present your petrol docket and get 4c for every litre of fuel purchased off the grocery bill". The check-out confirmed it.
So, I quickly jumped in the tug, headed down to the local servo - filled up - back to IGA as the check-out was finished running the tucker through ... and discount on groceries.
I was amused and impressed. I have encountered it in a few towns with IGA's that have local arrangements with their servos. Should happen more often.

Now if you really want to be cheaky, get your fuel (with a shopper docket - Woolies or Coles), get a receipt, then do your next shop @ IGA and get another 4c/Lt off. We hit the jackpot in Tsv by doing this, and on the bottom of the IGA docket was another docket for a couple of BP servos around Tsv giving 3c/Lt off!! Hey, we need all the help we can get, with the fuel hitting the $1.50 + mark.
