Saying Hi

I have just joined after lurking for sometime so wanted to say Hi.

I'm a solo traveler and even though I do not own a RV of any kind I do a lot of traveling in a rented Toyoto Hi Ace which suits me as I have a good rental co. with reasonable rates and security deposit and the last vechicle only had 33,000km on the speedo.

In 2009 I did  21,000 in 18 weeks from Sydney to Melbourne then along the Murray and up to Broken Hill then Adelaide and up the centre to Darwin.I came home via the coast of WA and SA

I stayed in some caravan parks but also did free camping and National Parks. I never at any times had any worries or felt uncomfortable and no vechile problems, not even a flat tyre (have probably just jinxed myself)'

For my next trip I will be leaving Sydney on 3/5/11 for 9 week touring Queensland so i hope the weather improves. blankstare Can someone tell me how to add a linked web site please

Hi Clare and welcome, like all members here I think you will find it a great forum with nice interaction between GNs, loads of information for you to access or post yourself.

You certainly started out with a big trip in 2009! 21000k is a big tour in anyone's language.

Cheers,

ozi2

Hi Clare and welcome to the forum. You sure have done some sight seeing, good on you mate.

I think you go to your profile and then to signature.

Type in your website, highlight that link and right click the mouse and copy. In the tool bar up top you will see the chain link highlight  (Pick the unbroken chain) and a box will open up. Paste the copied link into that text box and hit the insert button and it should be highlighted and ready to go for you.

Good luck, my directions may be clear as mud so if it is, let me know.

What a great website Clare. Have put in my favourites as will take quite some time to go through it all. I bet there's a lot of good ideas in there. Will have fun reading it all.

Welcome Clare. All I do, is click on Page, in the toolbar,[assuming you're on the relevant Web-page] and you get a drop-down box.

Scroll down to "Send Link By E-mail" and click on it.

An E-mail box will appear, with the link already there. Select it, and Copy it, to Paste when you're back on the right page.

Cheers,
Sheba.
