I rang it and a lady answered and said "Wombat's Escort Service", ladies for your choosing I assume that is a road escort service with lady drivers (sorry CG, not you, I know you wouldn't work there) I know I'm getting on a bit wombat but I can still find my way around

I was filling up with fuel at the Eucla service station, the blonde girl was behind the counter and I asked if the Nullabor Nymph has been seen around, and she replied no, so i asked her if she would like to come over to the golf course and be a model for a couple of hours, I did explain what was required and she said yes, so the Nullabor Nymph you see in my pic also works in the service station.
Hey Zoomtopz - love the story about the Pilliga Princess - what is it about the Pilliga - it is a really spooky place even in the daylight - don't think I would ever stop there at night - probably been up and down the Newell a thousand times, and always get the creeps driving through there. My son is the same, wouldn't even stop for a "pee" stop, when it was just on dusk - his passengers were asleep.
As for the "Nullarbor Nymph" - well with all the Photoshopping on this site - who would believe any one of these guys - ha!ha!ha!

Jules. I'm the same as you. The Pilliga creeps me out, only because my son the truckie told me the stories he had been told by other truckies. Definitely not a place to free camp.
Been told they would make the hair on the back of your neck stand up Ma. Grown truckies freaked out by waking up to her standing looking in the window etc. There is a story behind her presence, Have to try to remember it.
Yes Jules , th Pilliga Princess WAS an actal lady .
(She com) She ran out in front of A northbound cattle truck - a southbound truckie witnessed - did she try to get across th road to hitch a lift to Narrabri??
Instead of hijacking this post I will start another thread .
Few familys did live out in the pilliga scrub ... I was one of those family .. Move there when i was 7 i left at 17 never seen a yowie my dad use to say when truckie would report seeing them ,, had had to many happy pills ..The pillage princess she was real never actully seen her but lots did and talk about her mosty in a nice way .. Dad only left his place 5 years ago when national parks took over all the land out there .. we had good life there was quiet but a good life ..christmas time we would have big family gathering because all the family would come out for the peace and quiet... the roo shooting ... and cray fishing in the big rock holes in the creek ... Seem so long ago .. Dad wanted to be buried out there when he passed but we could have it happen because of it been national park now ..but im sure he when with all his lovely memory of the bush he loved so much ......
