Alco said that they provide the steel for the axles to Preston in a raw state and said that it was up to Preston to prime and paint the steel.
Preston admitted that they do not prime the steel but simply paint it.

I have no doubt that most people are bluffed when dealers will not take responsibility.
If you play them at their same game you will get results.
It is such a shame that it has to come to this.

Good work! It does always pay to speak up. ALWAYS! It's your hard earned cash you've invested, so you're entitled to get what you've paid for. You should also be able to trust you are being sold what you pay for. It's very disappointing when this is not the case. Keep fighting! Word of mouth is the best, or worst, recommendation.
