Aluminium framed vans

Hi all,

I'm still working on getting my van for my travels.

I will be travelling solo so don't need a large van. My budget isn't large so I am looking into vans built in the 80's or early 90's & up to about $10k preferably.

My vehicle tow limit is 1600kg with a 160kg towball limit so I need to stick to something around the 15ft max.

I would like a van with an aluminium frame if possible to minimise any problems associated with timber getting wet & rotting.

Who apart from Viscount made vans in the under 15ft range & with an aluminium frame?

All suggestions are welcome.

Cheers ......... Alan

Leaking vans rot more than the framework. It is more important to get a van that does not leak rather than going hell bent to get an aluminium frame. It's no good having a perfect frame if the timber lining and cupboards are rotting out.
