4ks off the Stuart hwy 12ks nth of Tennant Creek(scary town for old greys) good toilets,away from hwy,plenty of room,tables great sunset/rise

spent nite,met some nice dutch and french free campers,good spot

Update on this place - still as good as previous (no thanks to a certain group, who use a lot of "bumwirperum plentii of the genus Sorbentica" - but well maintained and plenty of rubbish bins - toilets are good. Road needed a grade - lots of corrigations. Didn't see any feral cats this time.

No 4wd needed - it is unmade, hard under sand - take it easy - about 16k in. No water there, but a beautiful spot, walk around the pebbles - the rangers who look after the place are mostly women, great ladies.
