Welcome to the forum cowboy can't help you with the work aspect but I am sure you will get plenty of information on the site it has been on before and if I remember correctly a lot of people put ads up in the local shop of the town that they are in or if in a caravan park they put a notice on the board also the local pub seems to be the answer at times to good luck with it. Hi Cowboy, and welcome to the forum. My wife and I are in similar situation to yourselves. We do farmsitting jobs as we go along. We are at a place in Julia Creek Qld at present. We look after 40000 acres here for Dept of Ag in Qld. The place has been destocked and we are more or less security until the place is sold - apparently by September/October. Not a lot required - check/maintain stock waters, clean compound yards, and about 6 buildings to be cleaned before September (plenty of time). We have had some smaller jobs from 3 weeks up to 3 months. I belong to a website where you can find vacancies when and where you wish to travel. Some pay pretty well others are not so well. If you have not had farm experience you may not need it depending on the job thats advertised. But, as someone said earlier, local pubs are are a good way of getting your name out there if you intend stopping somewhere for an extended period. good luck Terry and Liz
