Is it just me, or is everyone suddenly getting ads on the left side of the page when in the forum? It's not the ads themselves that worry me, its the fact that every single page I visit I have to scroll across to the right to see the full text. Can't we have the ads at the top of the page instead please??
Only see adds at the top, but some times the post is too wide for the page!! but I am useing a Eee pc 1000 .lovely little thing it is.. and runs on 12 volt dc. if you want..........Loved Tassie when there BUT THE WEATHER. it was bad all down the east coast then as well..would go again.....

I've turned off compatability mode and now I'm seeing the ads at the top the same as everyone else. The trouble is, the reason I have compatability mode turned on is that Blogger has troubles with the new Internet Explorer 9. One step forward, two steps back.....

Yes, I agree, seems to be the thing with all these technology changes, you get one thing & lose another. Everythings constantly changing & it does so at an ever increasing rate.
So, the question is, "Are these things here to serve us, or are we here to serve them" its madness!

I use Mozilla Firefox but sometimes I see the forum threads go beyond the screen. It's annoying but I don't know what causes it. I have a feeling its someone else's format which causes it. The ads at the top are Cindy's own promo's for her own stuff. Technology is a wonderful thing - when it works like it should. Therein lies the problem

I'd be happy without it, although I wouldnt be able to communicate with you lot, better still would probably bump into you on the road. We did fine without it before, I know one day I will be JACK with it all

I'd rather you didn't "bump" into me Biggles, on the road or anywhere else. Panel beaters are so expensive. Meeting on the road somewhere is much better. Yeah! Let's do that.

They were along the top when I was on here easrlier, now they have all gone. Sheba, the compatibility mode is the little square up the top to the right of your address tab. it looks like a piece of paper ripped in two.
The've come back here too. Sheba, where you write an address in to go into a site is your address bar. Where you do the click down to see your list of addresses, just to the right of that is the compatibility thing/ Looks like a piece of paper ripped in half. You click on that to fix pages that are out of whack.
Hi all, Apologies for the mysterious behaviour of the ads. We're trying to experiment a bit with the formatting but we're not quite there yet! Hopefully things will get sorted out soon. Thanks for your patience.
