Finally on the road

Gidday,

We are back on the road on Friday, yahoo, leaving my wife Karens parents place near Taree NSW and hoping to be in Canberra next week. Doing the Great Ocean Rd in a couple of weeks. If you see a dark grey 200 cruiser with a Jayco Sterling on the back, with stickers, give us a wave. We started our round Aus trip over 12 months ago in Maryborough, QLD, but due to unforseen circumstances this was as far as we got.

Can't wait.

Cheers

Ross and Karen Daniel.

Life really does get in the way of your plans sometimes doesn't it!!!

Good to see that you are off on the "next leg" of your trip.

Travel safely. Cheers. Pam. smile

Thanks, we've been in training for the last week or so . Had a 3 degree night a couple of nights ago.smile

Heard it was -6 in Canberra the same night.

We're free camping so will be pulling up early and making sure we're closed up.

It doesn't matter how you do your trip, whether it's all at once or in episodes, you're doing it. Many people do it annually during their leave from work. It's amazing how much country they cover over the years.
Keep warm at night would certainly be easier when there's 2 of you.
I know it was a bit chilly in my camp bed at Cobar a couple of weeks ago. BRRRRR!
Safe and happy travels.

I'm not looking forward to my trip back down NSW, I know it is going to be so cold. Will be hard not to rush it to get home earlier.
