Guess what management won?

When we got home the other evening, there on the doorstep was a card from a carrying company saying they had a 26 kg parcel for us.  We contacted them on line and they said it would be delivered the next day.  We had no clue what the hell it was so management detailed me off to stay home all day and wait.  We could only surmise that she had won something through one of the "womens" magazines that she, and many Grey Nomads are addicted to.  The parcel and management both arrived home at the same time.  She was a little disappointed as it looked like a new bike as the box was just the same as the one her bike came in the other day.  But no it was a 42 inch plasma T.V! So all you compitetion enterers - yes people do win...  Its the second colour T.V she has won, She won one about 35 years ago when colour T.V came to Australia.  Has anyone else had any luck?

I wrote something for a caravan mag a while ago and won a heavy parcel with an inverter, towbar scales thingy, and some other equipment for this lifestyle.
I've won a couple of things from the Take Five and That's Life puzzles which included a table lamp, a matching photo frame and trinket boxes.
I won $100 on the pokies the other week at Dalby - $80 on a minor jackpot and another $20 on free spins.
Normally I couldn't win a kick in a street fight, and the only reward I get is from bloody hard work.
Just like freelance journalism, with the emphasis on "free", which funded my family for 12 years.

Great stuff Pete, what a nice surprise.

I haven't been much on the lucky side I am afraid.

Hard work here to CG.

A few years ago when my wife was alive we went for a night out to the South Tweed Bowls Club, we were playing a 5 cent progressive machine when she pulled scattered aces, i said, " you silly woman your supposed to put them on the centre line", so three spins later she did. $18.500.
The bloke playing the next machine to us asked me if he sent his wife over, could i please train her the way i trained my wife.

Won a Jack Daniels motor cycle helmet I Pod dock a week ago Had to buy a bottle of JD (which is my only drink)and you got an entry form Got a text saying I had won. May have something to do with the dozen bottles I purchased and the dozen entry forms I got . Only entered as my latest grandson is named Jackson Douglas and everything in his room has the J D emblem on it. Looks good above his bed . Normal if it wasn't for bad luck I won't have any luck at all. Not really I have good health and a loving family so I'm so far in front i can't hear the band.

You and me both Gerty.  Don't expect to win anything else in my life now and I'm quite happy with that.

About ten year ago I won a prize in the Cottees Jam Competition. Was Airfares to Tassie, a rental car and accommodation, not sure for how many days, think it was 5 or 6. Took my daughter with me.
This last year won a couple of prizes from Channel 10 after joining The Circle website. One was a bag for of book, there must have been at least 8 in the packet. They were all those self learning, self improvement type of books, gave most of them away. Learnt all I can, I'm sure.
I got another small prize from them another time but can't remember what it was.

I've not won many things in my life, but the latest was a meat tray at the Golf Club at Tin Can Bay a couple of moths ago. I was chuffed!
