leaking awning

Hello everyone

hope you can help with our dilemma

we have a jayco expanda 2006 and are hving problems with it leaking from the top where it slides in to attach to the caravan roof

the awning itself is in good condition as is the stitching

the leaks form beads of water which drip throughout the annexxe.

has anybody had a similar problem and located a resolution

regards

peter rosemary and ollie (retreiver)

I had a similar problem and just added a little silicone to the outside area where it sits against the van and no more leaks. Not sure if I was supposed to do this, but it worked OK.

Gidday Peter + Rose. I had the similar problem, found the warer was leaking down Behind the rope rail, so just run a bead of clear selastic along it, 'problem fixed'
