My little brother is turning 50, so, party,party,party in Calliope on the weekend. Thats not the most exciting bit....for the first time, we are going to have our son and future d-i-l camping with us. They will be driving 8 hours to be with us,and as our van is only built for 2,we will be taking a 2man tent and putting it up for them to sleep in, under our annex. Finally one of our kids will see just how much fun Mum and Dad DO have when camping. Hope its not tooooooo cold!!
Whatever you do, don't embarrass the kids. While you're enjoying yourselves out there doing what you love doing, for some reason the kids don't seem to get it, and get embarrassed by their parents just being themselves in neutral territory. Just have fun and hope it catches on. Happy Birthday to your "little" brother from me.

Had to smile when I read that.... 2 of my kids like camping...and 2 DO NOT..... My eldest son says the only stars he likes to sleep under are 5 stars (hotels/resorts)
