This rest area is about 90kms north of the Burke and Wills Junction Roadhouse and approximately 112kms south of Normanton. Amenities are very basic, modern 'eco' toilets, no showers, but a true blue bush camp. Campfires are allowed. The night we camped here, we ended up with 9 vehicles pulled in for the night, so you don't have to worry about being out in the middle of nowhere on your own here.

If you're lucky and camped here in middle to late September, you'll more than likely see the 'Morning Glory' (weather phenomenon) coming in, in the morning. This is spectacular to see!
