To get black grease off your hands off your hands after working on the car, try rubbing margarine into your hands then wash off with liquid soap, it orks.
Only problem is if it dissolves grease that well, what is it we are eating

Try using White Sugar. I used to use it to get Oil and Grease out of clothes in the Washing Machine years ago. I cup to a load used to work. [As well as Detergent.]
worked in the Bakery on Thurs Is. forget the name off the stuff, they use it to make the topping on finger buns, jubilee twists etc; we used to use it to wash the grease off our hands if the machines broke down.
Sorry, I know this is off topic again but......have you ever seen what margarine looks like once it has been set on fire............black sticky gooey mess which smells terrible.
I usually don't use either, just go without. But the other day I had the craving so bought a pack from Aldi, Canola spread with a source of Omega 3, Naturally cholestoral free and 39% less sodium. Well, I can't leave it alone, spread on every cracker I can find. Won't be buying another one when this ones gone. If its not there can't use it.
We dont eat margarine at all. When we did years ago, our son would say "Dad pass the industrial grade..." I think he got it right. On the rare occassion we use a spread we use olive oil spread.

Avocado also makes a great spread.... for bread that is, not the back of your hands!... (or if so make sure your hands are clean first so you lick the avo off them!)
(one of the advantages of being solo.....disgusting table manners!)

I use dairy blend vegetable oil and butter. It's tasty, spreadable and in moderation won't grease the hips. A loaf of bread lasts me between 2 and 4 weeks in the freezer, so the spread lasts me about 2 months.

A caravan service guy put grease just about everywhere, around the hitch and the tow ball. Very messy on the hands. Even worse now with half a ton of Central Australian red dust sticking to it. What to do?
Back onto the other topic!.... we use low-fat philly as a spread.

If the low fat philly doesn't work on all that grease you may have to resort to a degreaser!
I was told to put a can of coke in washing to clean really dirty/greasy clothing! haven't tried it, and glad I don't drink the stuff either, could just imagine what that does to our insides as well!

The trick is...spread the marge AFTER you make the toast!

My brother worked in a scrap yard in Sydney for many years and the yard next door was a margarine manufacturing place. He will never buy marg, he says the stench was enough for him and the waste product, from memory, had to be taken to a special re cycle place to be disposed of, pretty grose ay.
I only eat butter on my toast, I don't use spread on bread unless it has vegemite on it.
