It's been a while since anyone did a poll. Great idea. We have a tent type camper trailer. Our kitchen unit which is hubby built now has permanent legs on it which it great. Legs were from an old fold up table and were just what we needed.
Got both caravan (for a bit more comfort whilst touring), and camper trailer (when we do our tripping outback eg the CApe or Camerons Corner) - both were purchased pre-loved, and l-o-v-e both!

I now understand the air of indifference I have encountered offered by a number of Motorhomes, Busses etc. With such a small sample of the poll showing this type of ownership it is obviously an exclusive club. My application for membership must be in the mail.

We have a caravan, camper trailer & tent . Havent used the tent for a long time, thinking of selling the camper trailer[home built H/D ] off road with boat rack, due to health.

Motorhome I reckon, not being towed and too big for a campervan.......

Most of our travel is done with the van, but usually also carry two tents, for when we want to go places where towing is difficult. Have a larger tent that we put up when staying a few days or more in one spot, and a smaller dome type tent that we use for overnighters.
My last unit was a 12 ft Jayco poptop .. loved every minute of it .. then my choice was the MH when the decision to be permanently onroad .. still love every minute of it !
Yes .. indifference exists .. but thats their problem. I'll talk to anyone .. (I even parked on Vics front lawn) .. Vic doesn't care either .. he looks after 'strays' !!

Thanks Jon, you made a good "watchdog" for the front of the house, "woof, woof", you've got a nice rig. I am surprised at how few campervans, campertrailers and motorhomes are shown in the poll, although a good percentage of the posters here have them? Seems the majority are caravanners.
Maybe with a few exceptions caravanners don't seem to post much here? Or is those with campervans/motor home/trailers waffle more.......hmmmmm...........

I've got a caravan, and I think I waffle on a bit.... Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk....
We were caravanners for 15 years but changed to a motorhome 2 1/2yrs ago, only because as we get older we thought we would go for a bit more comfort but nonetheless we did enjoy our years in the caravan. Our outlook hasn't changed though. We are just OUT THERE to enjoy this great country of ours.
