Just letting all my friends know that I am still around, currently housesitting at Coochin near boonah until next tuesday (no internet reception) and then over to Kalbar for a week, after that back to my sons place at Jimboomba for a week and then off to Tara for the camel races.winkwinkwink

Heard yesterday that the camel races were cancelled, but the festivities to continue.

 

My Father worked on Coochin Coochin station as a lad.  Around the late 1920's.

Thanks Travel Bug, yes, mr & mrs D & brodie are haveing a ball. Been on the road now since 9th july, and but who is counting

Goinsoon, we saw a movie years ago called Frenchmans Farm, set/filmed at Coochin Choochin. Dare you to see it while still in the area

 The place we house sat overlooked Coochin Coochin homestead, it is only a small property now it was once 37000 acres down to less than 1000 now
