Pulled into our showgrounds cp this week - a converted bus - at least 40ft - towing a caravan - probably 17ft - did a double take when I first saw it. Will try and get a picture tomorrow when I head over to showgrounds.

Yep - they didn't unhitch, but set both vehicles up - awnings out etc. Maybe Stevo (is 85 too old to become a grey nomad) - should take a look - could work for the dad in question.

No different than towing a closed in car trailer. Friends of mine had bus and 2 teenage daughters. When they were parked up the girls used the Pajero's trailer as their room. The single beds were clipped to the walls when car was in place, and dropped down on chains for sling beds. It had aircon and a dressing table in the "fore peak" (bow). The ramp on the back of the trailer was locked from the inside, and there was a small access door on the front angle.

Hi, I came upon a bus towing a caravan in Gympie in March. It carried two adults & three young children. They were free camping at Inskip Point for a month or so then moving into Gympie for a week, again free camping, allowing them to wash, reprovision, & fuel up. Their caravan was only a shell & housed a large generator, which ran 24/7, & a work shed & storeroom. It did look odd but it worked for them.
