Hi. You don't seem to have a section for - free give away - for sale - and for swap. Do you think it would be worth setting up a seperate section for this? Havago.
Like Ma said, it would be great if bona fide GN members had something like that even if the ads had to be vetted by Cindy to prevent commercial operators from honing in.
But I doubt she would have the time to vet them. Members free ads seem to work well on Caravaners Forum, I've sold excess RV stuff on there before.
Which reminds me, we just sold a manual Magic Clothes Washer on Gumtree, almost new, in as new condition, used once. The couple that bought it wanted it to mix herbs of all things which they package and sell at the markets, they said it was ideal for that.

Hi Ace Pop Top Campervan & A'Van A'Lite Camper Trailer.....

Sold My campertrailer on GumTree............funny today had a solar salesman here to quote on my house solar system....and he put an offer in for the CT....saw it advertised....Bugga I sold it Friday...could have paid for solar LOL
Isn't that always the way it goes Smokeydk - tho recently a friend came back from a trip and decided it was getting too hard and she would sell her little van. I mentioned it to some people at bowls (she had it parked there next to her unit), someone went down and had a look, was going to buy it, but backed out for various reasons, anyway in the meantime someone else heard about it, rang me - and lo and behold went around, saw it, liked it, put a deposit on - so one van, sold twice, virtually, no advertising, just word of mouth. Amazing.
