I know you don't go until Wednesday but my computer is doing strange things. I didn't want to miss the opportunity to wish you a really great trip, so am posting while it's having a fit of good behaviour.

Hi everyone and thank you for your posts, it would be quite an understatement to say I am looking forward to Wednesday! I got through the past week basically unscathed so ready to see the "old"town again after such a long time. As you guys have mentioned, I can expect lots of changes........and prices through the roof. Green Island on the old ferry in 1984 was around $20.00......today a family pass to "reef magic"is $450.00.
It's not as though I will live forever, so why not spend the kids inheritance but seriously, it will be wonderful spending so much time together as a family and I can count myself as lucky that they are so well balanced and have grown into lovely adults that one can be proud of and have instilled into the grandchildren Australian value's, just one being young and old attending the Dawn ANZAC service.
Ok, time to wash the floor, pack my bags and wait....but who's excited?

As everyone has said have a great time wonderful to catch up with family we have tried to get to Cairns for the last two years but always get sidetracked and then run out of time to get there oh well next year hopefully. Helena.
