GALARGAMBONE CP

This little place was recommneded to us by some other travellers and as we had not previously visited that area we slipped across from Dunedoo to Gilgandra then up the highway 45/50 k to spend a few days in quiet peaceful surroundings....$22pn for 2 ADs as from 1st July 2011 and while I`m a bit picky in the pricing department the overall experiance is terrific.

Graham & Pam have owned/operated the park for 3.5 years and have done a fantastic job to bring the park back from almost oblivion....I won`t spoil the story, but if you take the opportunity to sit around the camp fire with them they will tell you how they came to buy and run the place.

One of Graham`s many skills is cooking and the evening dampers were terrific, particularly the Sunday night choc chip special complete with warm custard and fresh cream........mmmmmmmmmm  just yummy !!....so if travelling that way, do yourself a big favour and drop in to say g`day and enjoy some fabulous bush hospitality...we certainly will be next time around.

Totally Agree Whiteman, we stayed there a couple of years ago and couldn't have asked for better.   Lovely hot showers too.
