Avatars

I noticed, on changing my avatar that it changes on every post I've made in the past. Some of you have had lots of great avaters and changed them often, wouldnt it be nice to see them as they were at time of posting? What do others think?

Not sure if this is something within Cindy's power, as the forum is on the "Activeboard" site.

Yes, I have thought that as well GD - wanted to show someone the other day someone's avatar, and they had changed it, worse luck.

I've noticed the same thing too. Thought it would only change from the date I put up a new one. Then found the old ones gone for good.

I think it has something to do with the programme on which the forum is built, and it's out of Cindy's hands.
If we want to change it so they are visible only from the date of change we'd have to ask nicely for the site host to change the programme.
We are a creative lot and it would be a shame to lose all that creativity as time goes by.
You could try asking Cindy to ask the host.
