Just wondering if there are any Toyota Coaster owners here who can tell me what their most comfortable "cruising speed" is. Also, a top speed if you know it?

I've driven Coasters as buses and the comfortable speed would be 95-100 KPH. Just out of interest, is it petrol or diesel and how many forward gears? Most of the time you could use 5th getar or overdrive for easy cruising, and 4th and lower when the terrain is bit tougher or slower. Drive a the speed which is most comfortable to you, where you feel in maximum control. Just because the speed limit is 110KPH doesn't mean you HAVE to do it, like it's compulsory.

I've heard that the typical cruising speed of a Coaster is around 85-90kmh - which is totally fine.
Was driving Felicia along the highway today (to go and get her speedo fixed, so had no idea what speed I was sitting on) - only to find out that she was cruising at about 110kmh without seeming to be really trying!!!! To be honest, I was a bit astonished!

When we've gone on our short trips hubby says 85-90 is a good speed to go, its not been too bad on fuel so far but we really have not taken it for a long drive yet...
We have an'87 Coaster LWB 4.0 Diesel. It is "very happy" at 90-95 kmh, but will creep up to 115 very easily if you are on a flat road. At 90 kmh we get around 15 L /100, but this drops to around 18 if we cruise any faster.
