Hi all

 

We are leaving the Gold Coast on Dec 14, 2011 and spending Xmas just north of Melbourne, and going around the block at end of Jan 2012, travelling to Adelaide via The Great Ocean Road then North to Darwin to Perth across the Nullabour and back to the Gold Coast sometime in December 2012. Would be interested in meeting some other Grey Nomads in Melbourne during Jan 2012 maybe for a friendly coffee

I hope you have safe and happy travels. I also hope your airconditioner is in good working order. It can get very hot down south at that time of the year.

Travel safe, we plan to do a 1/2 block trip from Brisbane next year, to Perth via Broken Hill and back home around the coast

At that time of the year you might be better advised to continue on from Adelaide across the Nullarbor, to the SW of WA and spend the summer months south of the tropics. Then, as it cools in the south, head north in WA to Darwin and back through the Centre.

Our trip around the coast is back through Adelaide, Great Ocean road round the bottom of Vic and then up the NSW coast

end of Jan through Feb we probably be in North Haven, which is about 38km south of Port Macquarie in NSW
