John Edward

My daughter Carrie and I just had the most amazing experience yesterday in a group reading with John Edward.

We flew to Sydney and were in a group of 75 hopeful people at an "intimate reading" with John.

What an amazing guy!! Funny, amazingly accurate, and not bad looking either.

He picked up stuff on us that he couldn't have possible known.  We were so lucky to be one of the one's he was able to read.

We were both blown away.  It's good to know that whether you believe it or not, there is more than this life here on earth.  There is something afterwards.

We will have our reading appear in New Idea somewhere down the track along with the other lucky few that got a reading also.

What an amazing trip.  We're exhausted now - up to Sydney and back to Melbourne in 24 hours.  Still buzzing with amazement!!

I enjoy watching him on TV Sue. Always wondered how accurate he can be. Yoiu have confirmed that. He certainly is a good looker, isn't he?

He's very easy on the eye.  He had his 9 year old son with him too - he's a little cutie also :)

I've been watching that NZ Crime Show where the bring in the best Physics from Oz and NZ to try to solve cold cases.

Very interesting, makes you wonder if there is something in it.

There is something in it, a cool $100 000 from Australian Skeptics with $20 000 of it for the nominator who can be the same person.

If they are so good at seeing whats happened why dont they solve all murders and find all the missing persons????

Its the same as the ones who say they see the future, why dont they tell us when Tsunamis are going to hit or more importantly why aren't they filthy rich from winning tattslotto every week???

Just my opinion :)

Now this is a subject that could cause a lot of disagreement.

Shogun, it doesn't work that way. They can only see what they're given. And sometimes, there's a reason that they're not shown.

As for the money aspect, everyone has a right to make money however they can, with whatever gifts they have. If you asked, you'd probably find they donate a lot of money, but don't advertise the fact.

From personal experience, there's no doubt in my mind that there is life after death and everything in life happens for a reason.

Hi Beth

As i said it only my opinion :)

Its not that i don't believe in life after death, and yes there are many unexplained things that happen in life.

I just don't believe these people should make lots of money from their "gift".

Anyway life is good and it sure beats the alternative ;)

No problem, your opinion is valid. There are a lot of ripoff merchants out there. smile

My opinion is if it cost you a few dollars to have some peace ... by thinking you have contact with a love one who has passed away then what is the harm ??.. I talk to my dad who has passed this year because i miss him so much .. if he hears me or not i dont care really ....but i feel better when i sit down by the river in a quiet spot that i know he loved and have a chat to him ... so i would probley go to John Edward if he came here ...

And you are entitled to your opinion - this said, one of the reasons they are not filthy rich is because "abundance" does not always mean money - it just means "richness" or fulfilment.  As for predicting tsunamis etc., there are heaps out there who do predict these things, but most people are sceptical, and only believe in science.

As for solving crimes - heaps of psychics do pass the information on to police etc., but the police can disregard it or not -

As I said you are entitled to your opinion - others are entitled to theirs.

I agree Jules that abundance doesn't always mean money, I visit and spend times and pray with Buddhist monks regulary in Thailand and they certainly are happy without money or material things.

As for psychics assisting police, I spent 17 years in the police force and never had a psychic solve a crime or approach me or anyone I worked with to solve a crime.

Re predicting Tsunamis etc the only evidence I see is after the event they come forward and say they saw it happening before, well even I can do that.

Where do they post their predictions? I haven't seen any newspaper ads or appearances on TV. Now if they did that before a major event, that would certainly give me some belief in them.

Heres my prediction though.....someone will post something on here to disagree with me :)

Have a great day

I remember in 1976 there was a scare in Adelaide because somebody predicted a huge tidal wave. He said he saw sheets of water covering everything. Some people even sold their homes! Anyway, it didnt happen, and he left Adelaide after heaps of bad feeling, and moved (to some place with a name like Warren I think). After hed been there a short time they had terrible floods.

It goes to show, he really saw sheets of water but got the place wrong! Posting predictions in such an inexact field can cause worse trouble.

Sensing murder. I have always been skeptical re these people but after watching this show especially the Australian lady , Something is definately going on that we cannot comprehend. Her accuracy is remarkable . How come she is not in the new Aust show to find the best ? I would put my money on her anytime as I consider the present group do not rate ,  not in her class !!!no

 Dick.

I agree LD, I wonder about the Sensing Murder show, they do seem to have some sort of gift better than those on the show with the Skeptic, I try to keep an open mind on these things, even if they give police a new way of looking at things in their investigation after all other avenues have been exhausting still worth a try.

I do not believe in life after death, I think heaven and hell are here on earth (you can have either) and after you pass away there is nothing.....

I am a skeptic mostly but like I said do try to keep an open mind.......

Shogun, I suspect they don't tell anyone because nobody would believe them.

I knew a lady who helped the police quite often..only it wasn't common knowledge. And the police don't announce they've had help, because they would be poo hooed.

As said, everyone has a right to their opinion, I'm just suggesting an open mind.

My opinion is there is life after death. Some people are given a gift, my Mother could always tell when things were wrong in our family, like when a member of our family was either dying or had died. She actually saw some close family at the time of death. I think there are a few charletans around cashing in on some unfortunate people and making a lot of money doing it.
Like I said, only my opinion ....

I don't see why they can't make money out of their gift!! Actors can make money out of their talent of acting, singers can make money out of singing, drivers can make money out of driving, accountants can make money out of their gift of mathematics  . . . what's the difference??

I have seen two mediums since the death of my son six weeks ago - one was John Edward on saturday, and one was in Williamstown two weeks after his death. Both men came up with amazingly accurate information that they had absolutely no way of knowing - I did not give them any information at all, I only validated what they told me.

To have my son come through twice and know that he is happy where he is and that we did the right thing by him by turning off his life support, is the greatest comfort that I could every ask for.

Each to their own, and everyone to their own opinion. I for one believe there is more to life than what we have here on earth. It brings me great comfort to know this. I have also seen a great psychic medium in Bacchus Marsh four times over the last ten years. She is also amazingly accurate, and what she says will happen, does eventually happen.

I find this more beneficial to me than seeing a counsellor - and they're much cheaper!!

Sure, there are some cranks out there, but I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to connect with 3 amazingly accurate people.

I have also seen a clairvoyant, 25 years ago now and things she told me have come to pass and one in particular which I thought at the time that she was talking through the back of her head certainly did happen and right down to the smallest detail that she described.

I am probably classed as an agnostic but I can't honestly see that this is all there is.

Who would go to the trouble of creating us and our world only to have it end when we take our last breath.

I would really like to find a reputable person for another "reading" but haven't been able to find one locally.

And there is my opinion.   To each his own.   smile

If you ever come to Melbourne Ma, I'll give you the name and phone number of the Williamstown and Bacchus Marsh ones.  The lady in Bacchus Marsh is very popular though and has a nine month waiting list!!
