We are now at Clifton - showgrounds.  $7/night with power & hot showers.  We will probably stay a couple of days only as on Saturday is their annual race day at the grounds here.  Might be fun but I think we will be surrounded by race goers making merry.

Yes Rocket - in Qld Darling Downs area Might stay. Sometime the chauffeur gets the vehicle keys in his hands & there's no stopping him Cheers

Go to the races it will be fun you will have a great time, country race meetings are the best.

As long as you don't go to the Clifton Van Park out on the Highway.   Not very well presented even though it's only $18 a night.  Could do with a good clean up.  Wouldn't you agree Shadyandme?

The Irish Pub near the IGA supermarket in Clifton does a really good Guiness Pie.
