In Cairns at present, we were going to head south last week but had a couple of hiccups with Fae's health. Specialist on 28th, doc on 2nd then hopefully we will be off to see the kids in Yeppoon. From there, who knows? or cares for that matter, so long as we are together and out there doing it lol.
Haven't met any of you yet. We are still stuck in Logan (housesitting) going to the Beenleigh Market tomorrow, to sell stuff, downsizing in anticipation when we take off jan/feb. Cant get excited yet. Still looking forward if anyone wants R & R at feluga st.
Near Hyperdome, it would be nice to hear about everyones travel, especially if they have worked while they travel Dogs welcome.
Esperance now and intend to take my time moving towards Perth by around January. Then heading towards Broome by April/May to go across the top hopefully in the dry season.
It's a good trip John .. I did it last year .. A point of interest for you .. when you get up towards Broome about that time, and you're considering whether or not the 'big-wet' is over before continuing ..
Have a look around at the Dragon Flies that are buzzing about .. will always be heaps of them .. one day all of a sudden you'll notice nearly all the large ones have disappeared and replaced by little ones .. This will only happen when nature has told them the wet is over ..
I was quite intrigued when I saw all this happen ..
We are also staying in Logan for a few weeks, then to a rally at Spring Gully and after that going to Red Rock, near Grafton for a week or two with the grandkids

At home in Echuca for the moment. Have got all my in house power working. S in L did a fantastic job, in fact more than fantastic. Taking panels off and hiding wiring, putting in everything I need to stay longer on the road. Now to work on getting the pop top fixed but don't think I will be doing much today, have had sinus/earache for the last two days, hoped it would be gone today but woke to it being worse, so, busy dosing myself in the hope something will work. My heads thumping.
Going to Wallerawang in Mid December and then planning on spending Easter with my brother and family in NW NSW and then join a tag-a-long with dear friends, to Darwin.

Currently in Melbourne, having wandered down the Newell Highway from Newcastle.
Always a very pretty and interesting drive. Patches of Paterson's Curse coming out- I know its a weed, but very pretty purple. This trip we got a very good look at the rice paddies near Finley. Promised myself a stop off at the Big Strawberry on the next trip. Travelled in beautiful weather- 29/30 degrees all the way. Now wet and cold, heater on, typical Melbourne.
Planning to genealogical expeditions to find long lost family graves in counrty Victoria over the next day or so, and then on to Greens Lake after the long weekend boats are gone.
Gettin' out of Sydney tomorrow morning .. Unfortunately I won't be able to pick up my new trailer til next month, so I'm not going to dilly-dally around here waiting ..
Will be heading in the general direction of Echuca over a few days ..
