Tumut Tumut Tumut

Currently sitting beside the Tumut river in the Council caravan park and we have found one of natures beauty spots especially in the early morning when the river is flowing rapidly and there is a mist rising from the river as the sun comes up definately one of the better locations we have stayed in recent years biggrinbiggrin

Not sure if Tumut is on the same river as Tumbarumba, but we saw a bloke pull 3 large trout out of the little stream that goes through the park in Tumba one evening. Beautiful area.

Tumut is the only place where I have found a letterbox at the gate of the Cemetary

We are heading for Wee Jasper next weekend, about an hour from Tumut & Canberra. Will post some pics when we get home, looks a beautiful spot.

Back from Wee Jasper, it's a really beautiful spot. Very quiet while we were there just before Xmas. $7.50 per night for each adult, no power but there are hot showers at Billie Grace Reserve. Toilets at all reserves. We stayed at Micolong & Bille Grace reserves. Pet friendly too.

Thanks, we rebuilt this van & it is now sold, we are in the process of rebuilding another van, a 1986 viscount Regency. The dogs seem to like their enclosure, we will be improving this though. Wee Jasper is really lovely but I wish we went after Xmas instead of before as we live in Bermagui which is a madhouse at the moment.
