Snowy river photo's anyone?

Hi everyone, I would like to see some recent photo's of the Snowy river showing the change's since the agreement to finally release more water into the system. By all accounts the level has risen a lot from the previous trickle.

If you have any photo's it would be appreciated if you could post on the forum (I resided there years ago and it was such a shame to see the degradation of such a lovely river)

cheers,

ozi2

G'day Wombat and thanks for posting the photo's of the Snowy river.

Its got to be a huge improvement on the past and with luck will improve the whole river system down stream to Bass Strait.

cheers,

Hi Gerty, I think from memory its around 4-5 hours Canberra (towing) to Orbost/Marlo. I would recommend anywhere in the general area Orbost/Marlo/Cape Conran. Croajingalong NP is beautiful, lovely native timber forests running to beaches and Bass Strait.

Enjoy when you get the opportunity,

cheers,

ozi2

In 2007 we drove from Buchan Caves, on the Barry Way to Jindabyne, and followed the Snowy for quite some distance. There's a few really nice campgrounds along there that we'd like to return to, not sure about caravans on that road though. The river was flowing quite well at the time, they had just released some water I think. It was a lovely drive.
