B-i-l's 60 th birthday celebrations went on for 3 days, so I've had a tired few days, but well worth it!
My sister and I have known the birthday boy for around 45 years, so there's a lot of history there.
Camped in the yard were 4 caravans, a camper trailer, a tent, a van, and a twin cab ute with a sleeping body hanging out the back. Plus their son's family in 'the palace', which is a self contained shed/granny flat at the back. There were also new friends they've made in the area, since moving up here in January.
Lot's of laughs, a fair amount of alcohol and plenty of food.

Thanks all. Here's a few photo's....the toes are an example of leaving one's camera on the table for number two son to pick up. He took several similar one's.

I'm really only sleeping in it, but it's okay. I'll take some photo's of the iside later. I do think I'll have to get a better mattress though. It's not too bad, but only a foam one.
As soon as my grand-daughter and her parents arrived, she decided it was a good cubby house, so my sister reckons I should call it "Nana's Cubby".
I have the fridge going, but haven't used the stove.
Thanks Wombat. My cousin took that one with her iphone.
Thanks Marj. I was a bit iffy about the print, but my friend reassured me that it was 'me'. My brother blinked rapidly and put his sunnies on.
It's a very popular area Troopy. But not busy, very laid back country like. My niece and her friends are camped at Inskip Point...just down a bit from a lot of grey nomads! It's a great spot, and may be 'the' spot for our get together next year. Dogs are allowed.
Oh, and...I've done myself an injury again. The screen door at my sisters closed too quickly and caught the back of my heel and gouged a chunk out of my heel. Geeze it hurt! Enough to say a bad word.
B-i-l patched me up and now I'm sitting with my foot elevated...again! I thought it'd need stitches, but he thought not.
So I'm living up to my reputaion of hurting myself every time I go away.
Make sure there is no foriegn material in it, then wrap it with [if you can find one,]a bruised Comfrey leaf, or a good Comfrey Ointment. It will heal very fast.
I've seen a lot that are similar, since I bought it.
My brother, who was here for the party last weekend, has a 12 ft with a side door...I don't recall what brand it is. They have some small shelving in the wardrobe, so they can hang clothes, plus put small things like undies on the shelves. I think I'd like to do that too. I have a few other changes in mind too. When someone has time to do them for me.
I've been to Tin Can Bay markets this morning. There was a lovely cool breeze coming off the water. It's been over 30 degrees every day here at Cooloola Cove.
My sister wants me to stay on for a few more days, which is nice, so probably won't go home til later in the week.
