Anyone staying at Bingara?

Doesn't look very nice up there. Bingara is under water. The Newell from Moree to Goondi is closed as is the Gwydir.

Just heard on the news a toddler drowned at Bingara, that is very sad.

Are all our Grey Nomads safe, the weather has certainly been a bit uncomfortable the last two days.

Friends of ours were there last week, thank goodness they are back at home now. Bingara flooded last year too. Another friend was there and had to be towed off the riverbank. Had a lot of rain in the area, last night it poured most of the night but today has been beautiful.
I too hope everyone is safe.

Very sorry for the family of the toddler that drowned.

What is it with the weather at this time of the year?
When I arrived down here from Cairns last year I had to dig out the winter woollies and huddle up to keep warm. What happened to summer? There were only 3 days over 40 degC last summer in Adelaide. That's very rare.
Now we are having winter and rain again. The west is having bushfires and NSW is having floods.
It's getting that way we have to watch the weather forecast very carefully because nothing is reliable anymore.
I could be travelling north, south, east or west, but a lot will depend on the weather.
What's going on?
Stay safe everyone. Watch for the bushfires and the floods.

Must be the luck of the Irish or something, we have had one day of rain in Gympie in mid March, & three days of rain in Brisbane in late Feb. but have had absolutely none since in our travels across Outback Qld. the NT & Darwin, & now through NW WA through to Geraldton at the moment, though there are clouds today, & this is a rather uncommon sight for us lately.

My son in Biggenden said he hasn't had rain in 4 months. But raining in other counties around him.
It must be getting worse in North NSW, 1200 people isolated in one spot. Towns and highways closed.

JazzinAround is heading up that way heading to Caloundra, at Griffith at the moment. I messaged her about it in case she hasn't been watching TV. She needs to be careful through that area as do all our other nomad friends.

Very hot here in Logan SEQ, but we've had very little rain yet.

Going up to sons near Ipswich on Wednesday to babysit, it'll be hot hot hot up there for sure!
