Subscribing to a thread

How come I can't subscribe to a particular thread any more? I can only subscribe to to the whole section, as in Health & Wellbeing instead of Osteoperosis.

I'm not sure what the problem is.  I know our forum hosts have made a couple of general changes and perhaps they have inadvertantly changed the 'subscribing to topics' function.  I'll look into it and will let you know.

Billeeeee was seen today, up around Coffs Harbour.
JazzinAround emailed me, she was having a snooze after finishing a market when she heard, Hello, Hello, and there was Billeeeee standing at the door.

 You could pm Cindy and ask what is your nearest book store, or contact the publisher direct as per the info on the front page of this site;

Sheba, his longest stop in one place would have been at Greens Lake, he does move around fast.

Doesn't seem too long ago he was travelling with John.  Now they're just about at opposite ends of the country.

Haven't seen a post from John for a while.  Wonder where he is now ?

Cheers,

Sheba.

 No photo in the book of Cindy, I just got the book locally the other day.

I've never subscribed to a thread so don't have that worry. I don't see the point as all the threads with new posts sit at the top anyway.
Maybe someone can explain the advantage of it.

I don't read all threads, that'd take too long. I go by the subject title, and open it if it's of interest to me.

So I subscribe to a particular thread, and I get an email when someone comments. It's kind of like a reminder to me. "Hello! Someone's made a comment on that story about porta loos that interested you!' biggrin

The way it's working at the moment, I can't subscribe to just a thread. I have to subscribe to the whole section, and get mountains of emails. doh

Yeh, I go to the subject title too Beth. Then only read the ones I want. When I know I have read all of interest I then click Mark all as Read , so they look like I have read them all.
Next time I come in the ones I don't want to read are not still there highlighted, only the new ones that I want to check through.
