Sorry everybody. As Jules47 says I have been in contact with the forum hosts again to see what the issue is. I know they thought they had sorted out the problems ... but obviously not! I will keep chasing and let you know as soon as I learn more. Fingers crossed.

I can get my PMs fine , it is just after I answer them the notification is still there and every now and then it grows by one, is up to 5 now........

Good news (I think). We have heard back from our forum hosts who say they have identified the problem. They say they will re-set the offending PM count 'shortly'. Perhaps, if all is not well again after say 24 hours, you can PM me again and I will chase further. Fingers and toes crossed this time!
