Went through Denman NSW this arvo, passed the Rest Area before the bridge. The toilets are no longer there, looks like they have been demolished, maybe building new ones, not sure. Anyway there are Public toilets in Denman so if you're passing through go to the loo in Denman
Had to look Denman up in the Atlas. We always miss it heading to the New England Highway from Dubbo, think we'll have to change our routes around, and find some other nice liitle towns. Thanks ValnRob.
Hi Elle on Wheels, no it's not WA, Denman is on the Golden Highway NSW heading towards Musselbrook, Singleton etc. It's a very nice little town, the Rest area is quite a popular stop over for vans etc.
Dunnedoo is my preferred stop on that stretch of the Golden Highway. At the truck stop, in behind the park, opposite the pub you find plenty of parking, toilets, shops across the way and a nice enclosed area to let the dogs have a bit of a run.

This thread prompted us to go on a drive on Sunday to have a look at Denman as we had never stopped there before, only driven by enroute to other places. We called in at the Denman Royal Hotel for some lunch and really enjoyed it. They had an outdoor dining area and the meals were reasonably priced and I was flat out finishing my sirloin steak with chips and salad. We didn't take any pics, but I was able to find a couple of recent ones on flicker.
