I am very thankfull that i live in the upper half of the North Island. We really feel for the people of Christchurch. A lot have left the city and i think this last few shakes will possibly send more.

Vic, they are still in Hamilton, but are going to a family batch or beach house as you might call it,over to the eastern coast of North Island, on Boxing Day. We have not been feeling these quakes at all.
Are you going up the east coast, or are you going to Mahia. Happy fishing, craying and whatever you may do. Merry christmas from lynette and howard hall ex gisbornites

Lynette,we hope to do some boating on the Haurake Gulf over the holiday break. But still have heaps of jobs to tidy up in readiness for our Oz trip in Feb.
merry xmas kiwi as, where are you in kiwi land, i lived up the north island a place called Nungaru near tutakaka and whangarei i loved living in nungaru it was such a tiny sleepy little town with the beach inlet right across the road there used to be some a frame houses across from the water i used to live in one and clean the others for cheaper rent.
they were holiday batches,i also lived in silverdale when i was fifteen i went over to mind my sisters baby while she worked for 3 mths.
she now lives in redbeach ,and daughter in stanmore bay.
Seems as though half the forum members have Kiwi blood.I reackon we should stage a take over. Then we could deal to the" tight five", thats a rugby term. Can't you hear Wombat, and Co. shaking in their shoes, or maybe that should be Slippers.
Glassies, hi great news from the Pet scan. Keep thinking positive Girl. You don't realise how important that is. We live on the outskirt of Hamilton.Been in vacinity all my life.
