Mr D, in a previous life, managed a caravan park near Byron Bay. He often tells me how he had Xmas dinner on the steps to enable him to keep the office open.....

DUNMOWIN is no longer on the road and still DUNMOWIN!
The Park I managed had a policy someone always had to be onsite, the ammeneties always got done but the office wasn't open. At least we got time to enjoy Christmas day but you can bet someone always can't read the words closed.
The office here at Maraboon is closed but they are on site. I'm about to join them for drinky poos. They opened for 2 hrs this morning, and later today again, but they have to have a day off too.

Management makes the decisions, but is not affected by the decisions it makes.
Park we're in at Armidale was open for an hour this morning for people to return keys on checkout, and an hour this afternoon so new arrivals can wander over and check in and pay. Most parks are run by the owners, they have to have some time off to celebrate!
Sure is reasonable to be closed on Xmas Day, when we were involved in the Tourist Industry we certainly were closed on Xmas Day, but we we made sure that the people. that had booked were informed how to assess there sites without having to worry us on one of the very few days we had off during the year
Cheers
