Beth, I've been trying to get NPWS to look for and save a Quoll up on Cape York, that has not yet been "described".   It is officially "Unknown to Science."  My ex. and I are not the only people who have seen it, but they're just not interested.

They've been telling me for years that they've probably been wiped out by Cane-toads.

However 2 Cape Yorker Forumites saw one near Weipa, a year or so ago.

It is unique, in that it has a Black and White Tail that is striped similar, [but the fur is more sparse] to a Ringtailed Lemur.

I'd love some-one to get a Pic. of one for proof.  Didn't have a camera when I first saw it, in 1984.

So any-one going up the Cape, please keep your eyes open.

Cheers,

Sheba.

How interesting Sheba. There's been too many species that have died out.

I hope someone gets that photo for you.
