What I am also sick and tired of is talking to somebody who is not in Australia and doesn't speak English well and you have to keep asking them to repeat what they said, with these ones I now ask to be transferred back to their Australian office ( not always successful ) and I also when asked to speak with a machine usually say something like goolygoolygumdrop and am regularly then told I am being put through to an operator.
