problems with PV charge controller


The controller has stopped giving readings and I am unsure whether I can open the controller, ie do they have ffuse etc.  any help greatly appreciated

Hi Gitsho,

 

Can you provide any more information on the controllerand what problems you are seeing?

 

If you have a multimeter can you see any voltage on the battery or solar terminals on the controller?

 

Is the controller still under warranty, if so you should definatly not open it.

my solar controllers are Morningstar. 5yr warranty. have 3 in use. Morningstar they say are the best available.

Have you changed your battery with out disconnecting your regulator?
